Cupholders!!!

Cupholders!!!
Got a 2013 Fx4 and love it... But I pretty much despise the cupholders. Either I leave the insert out and everything falls back and forth or leave the insert in and half the time it sticks to the cup when I take it out.
Anyone have any good ideas/mods/suggestions on a fix?

Attach velcro to the bottom of the cup holder and other side to console.

I actually thought about that... But was wondering if anyone had something other than Velcro as a fix for part of a $40k truck... Haha. I may resort to that tho. Maybe someone has modded the holders

Put a bead of silicone around the cup holder, let dry. Might be enough to put some resistance on them so they don't pop out.

Think these might help? A little better then tape and gluing a $40k truck. lol

When I got this '04 Lariat it didn't have those rubber cup inserts. And when using one of those big 24oz stainless cups the cup would almost turn over and fall out when driving and making a turn. Found one of the rubber inserts at a junk yard and it works only "so-so" with soda cans but the 24oz mug wont even fit in it. Then I looked at that little plastic sliding divider that Blakjak220 posted and thought "I can do better than that."
So I went out to my shop and glued 2 small (3/4" thick) blocks of oak together and using a cardboard template I made my own divider. Cut the basic shape out on the bandsaw and used a sander to shape it to the final size. It's actually just in there with a press fit, no glue or screws and it doesn't pop out very easily, so yeah it stays put.
Here's several views. As you can see I made it wider than just those small shoulders that Ford molded in there. Helps keep the big mugs from rattling around, and last month we ate at a Outback restaurant and I asked the waitress if I could have 2 of the coasters they put on the table. "Take as many as you want" she said, so I took 4 and cut them to fit the bottom of the cupholder to catch any dampness from cold drinks.
Oh yeah, the ribbed rubber things are pieces I cut from some tool box drawer liner. It isn't glued in just sits there to help stop the cups from rattling around in the holder.
