Console Swap
I recently purchased a 2017 f150 XLT super cab 6.5 bed 4x4. It was really equipped out nicely except for a couple of items. One it has the fold over middle seat/console and I’d rather have the fixed console for the additional storage. I have a column shift and while a console shifter might be preferred I’m ok with living with the column. That said has anyone out there done the swap and what are the challenges? Any electrical issues? What are my options? Thanks
There are some looking for the jump-seat 09-14 and 15-20 console to jump seat Might be mutually beneficial swap.
Or you could do a functional just not as attractive thing what I did to my truck I like the storage and simple utility. And if I keep it in there I'll have an upholstery project to do.2 screws and 4 bluts are all that holds the jump-seat in.KM

It’s 100% do able. But if you’re going to spend the money on new console you might as well convert the column shifter to console or else you’ll have a weird hole that you’ll have to fill in. There is a guy on here that did this conversion. Wasn’t really a write up of how to do it. But he wanted to make his XLT into a Lariat.
I had to repin the passenger side connector to get power to rear USB. All I had for rear passengers. You will need new center stack dash panels for the console to fit and if you want the ducting to work there is some cutting under the dash and a connector piece.
