Default Wireless Charger

Has anybody tried this charger or something like it? It looks pretty slick but I'm always leery of these fly-by-night Chinese companies, and I can't find much else from somebody more reputable.

Haven't used that one you linked. I have this one:

It's not in the front compartment like your link, it's in the center console instead.

Thanks, yeah I saw that one too but my tray is already full, lol. I'd also like to keep the phone in view if I can.

I should mention that I have the Motorola MA1 wireless Android Auto dongle too. It's really been a nice upgrade not having to take my phone out of my pocket. Not having to ever use two hands to fiddle with the cord for charging would be even nicer.

I’ve been using this one for about 6-8 months. I tried a few of the cheaper ones. They all sucked, at the time.

That's more what I was looking for, I don't mind the cost if it's good quality. I don't like that you have to tear apart the dash and console to install it, those clips can be easy to break. Wish they had a version with a USB cable to just plug in there. I'll think about it though.

Using just the factory USB ports wouldn’t allow for fast charging, which you want if running wireless AA or CarPlay.

Good point. I think this is the leading contender. Price is steep for what it is, but if it works well and won't start my truck on fire...

Anyone with the center jump seat figured out a way to engineer a wireless charger in the space we have?

The factory USB on dash of 2018 XLT will not power an iPhone 11.

I use a cigarette lighter adapter in the 12V outlet at rear of center console.
