Default Windshield Wipers Issue

hi,

I have a 2015 Lariat that I still love. Got it brand new and I do take care of it. I had this issue for the past few months and can't seem to get to the bottom of it.

My wipers are going off when you don't expect. My windshield can be cleared (no rain/snow and is clean) and the wipers are running even if the switch is in OFF position. I disabled my rain sensors and courtesy wipers in Advance Settings. It still does it whenever you don't expect. When I switch to a faster wipers, the wipers behave normal. When I turn it off, the wipers continue to run intermittent for a while. Eventually it will stop. I do have brand new wiper blades so that's not the issue. No dirt/humidity in the sensor area (and as I mentioned the sensor is off).

Not sure if this is the right area to post... But hopefully someone can give me some advice. I did check the harness and it doesn't seem to be the issue.

TIA,

TIA,
your switch is bad. It’s cheap and something you can do. Just search and a couple of other threads exist on this.

Thank you, Will do a bit more search.

I did suspect the switch. I did order one from RockAuto but they shipped the wrong one. Will go to local dealer and get one.
