Default Windshield wiper

My wipers will work for a minute sometimes and other times will not work at all when I spray the windshield to clean it off with the button the windshield wipers don't move at all thinking it's the windshield wiper motor any help or suggestions

Is it just when you hit the washer button? Will they operate normally if you turn the wipers on?

Don't know any of your truck details, but most wiper operational issues are caused by a faulty multifunction switch. They are not terribly expensive and easy to change out. You can check for DTCs using FORScan or high end diagnostic tool if you have that ability. If not, I would start by changing the multifunction switch.

Agree with the above. I’d check the switch first.

Would it still be the switch if they well I would call Flickr as in I can see them move as they're supposed to be going up the window you can see them like want to and then when it's on it's downstroke you can see it pull it down but they just don't move to me it's like the motor is underpowered or they are tied up somewhere or the motor gets hot and does not have full power

There has been a couple of cases documented on the forum that the wiper transmission (the linkage between the motor and the wiper arms) has seized or just got really stiff. Replacing it solved the problem. You can remove the transmission and see if it moves freely.
