Default Windshield washer fluid levels

Did I do wrong by filling up about an inch below the w.w. Fluid cap? Since- I’ve read reviews stating to go 2 inches below cap. Should i ride it out or could I have issues if I don’t take some out … thanks!

Oh no! The manual says overfilling the wiper fluid tank will void the warranty.

Or maybe not.

The one you really do have to be careful with, is blinker fluid. If it's too full your blinkers don't blink, and just stay on.

Where, pray tell, did you read that filling up the washer fluid to the top was bad?

I'd only worry if you are in the north and you used summer blend.

I fill mine when it is completely out and the light comes on and it typically takes right at a gallon to fill to the top.
