I have the 5% for privacy. Yes it is a PITA on roads with no lights but on roads with lights its no problem and if I am unsure I roll my windows down. I am not that stupid to risk someone's life. But thanks for your concern.

So on the highway / interstate (no lights at night) you drive with windows rolled down ... suuuure

And yes - you are risking other people's life (if visibility at night is PITA) not to mention insurance issues and legal problems if in an accident.

Glad someone on the f150 forums is watching out for all us law breakers. I'm just glad no one without tinted windows has ever not seen the person beside them and crashed, had no insurance problems and didn't get ticketed.

I have Air90 on my windshield and it does a great job with heat rejection.

Yes i actually do try to drive with the windows down if I can't see. I would rather freeze my *** off or get rained on that not have someone go home to their family. Just because I like the 5% on my glass doesn't mean I am a cold hearted person who would rather look cool than run over someone. I ride a motorcycle from time to time and my buddies ride so I do try to look out for others.

And as far as the insurance and legal issues if I was in a accident I am sure the officer would be more worried about the welfare of the other parties compared to the tint on my windows. Plus I may be young but I am not dumb as I have stated before I roll my window down if I need to because just like you sir I want to come home to my loved ones at night so I drive as safely as I can. So I appreciate your concern for my insurance premiums and legal worries but I think I can handle them just fine by myself.

That may be what I have - can't remember specifically.

One thing I've noticed in the recent weeks - it seems the light sensor is MUCH more sensitive now causing the larger display and dash backlight (and I assume headlights) to toggle between day and night mode with a bit of shadow - sometimes I can't see the dash as it has switched to night mode due to some shade - not sure if this is just the angle of the sun this time of year causing grief, or if the film on the front windshield - even though clear, is causing the sensor grief due to the UV blocking characteristics....
