Default Windshield Clear Tint

Howdy y'all. I'm looking at getting clear tint put on the windshield. Online they advertise heat rejection, and 99% UV rejection. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and if they have any comments, regrets, or praise on doing this?

I just got my registration sticker and if I'm going to do it I would like to have it done before I put my sticker on.

It's not exactly what you asked about but I have 40% on my whole windshield and I absolutely love it, same thing on my wife's 2014 Maxima. Heat rejection is good, still easy to see out and still nice and private inside. I hear great things about the clear tint as well but I myself like the dark tint. Let us know what you decide and how it works out for you.

I'd do dark tint, but it's illegal down here and I'd rather not mess with it. Makes inspections very difficult. But glad to hear someone else heard great things about the clear tint.

I have 70% ceramic tint (3M Crystalline) on my windshield and, honestly, the difference in color is undetectable. I'm very happy with it and would do it again. The heat rejection is very nice.

That's what I was looking at. How much did that cost? I know it'll be different, but it at least gives a ballpark idea

I believe the windshield was about $150. I had 20% put on the front windows and 70% on the panoramic sunroof at the same, so I don't remember the exact cost for the windshield. The whole thing was a little less than $700 after 9.5% WA sales tax.

I have 78% ceramic on my windshield and absolutely love it. It really doesn't make any difference with night driving and keeps the heat down since the windshield is the biggest window on your truck.

I have the Air80 I think it's called which is hard to tell from an untinted windshield but gives the heat rejection. Have ceramic on all other surfaces at legal limits and also have it on the sunroof
