wait, the privacy glass doesn’t offer any UV protection? Is there documentation on that? I ask because I have babies and thought the factory tint offered UV protection in both our cars

If you web search "does oem privacy glass block UV" there are many results saying no.
No, not any more than the natural properties of glass. Glass blocks most UV-B but not UV-A.

I know UV is not the same as IR, but if you put your hand on the inside of privacy glass when sun is shining through, it feels warm. Do the same with 3M Ceramic IR and there is almost no heat.
3m Ceramic IR blocks >99% UV with every shade, even 70%.
