Smile Window Sticker and Blis

Looking at new f150's online and can't tell (Window Sticker) whether truck has all the safety features (blis, cross traffic etc.). I'm an old fart and need SAFETY! Have insane drivers around me. Can anyone tell me how you know when included. Otherwise, how do you like your trucks or what don't you like. The reviews are all great. Can't wait to test drive one!

Here's my window sticker. (Don't be shocked by the price. Canadian $). BLIS is listed under Standard Equipment - Exterior, and then there's other stuff listed under Safety/Security. Blind Spot Information System also shows up under Equipment Group 502A. There's so many variants and configurations for the F150 that it can be pretty confusing.

I absolutely love, love, love my truck! I'm glad I spent a bit extra and got a well equipped Lariat. It was well worth it for me. I'm no spring chicken either, and this is by far the most enjoyable vehicle I've ever owned. Drives fantastic, it's super comfortable, it's not a gas hog, it has heaps of power, and I think it looks awesome, too. I know some people complain about build quality, and maybe I'm just lucky, but the fit and finish on mine is great. No creaks, rattles, or leaks. I've only had it for 4 weeks, but at this point I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Thanks WolperDinger,

Wow. What a truck! Not seeing anything listed in upstate New York like that. Hope it's not the just the Lariat - a little steep for me. Will keep looking though!

Play around with the "Build & Price" feature on ford.com if you haven't been doing so already. It will give you a good idea of what features are available on what model for how much $$$. If you want something very specific and no dealer in the area has one, don't be afraid to order exactly what you want. If you're laying out that kind of dough, I think it's worth making sure you get what you're looking for.

If you are just looking online, check the tail light pictures. BLIS will have a tail light like this

Thanks ACDII, timcolegr and woplerdinger,
That helps a lot - when I go to the dealers too. Your right about ordering when your ready - big money get what you want. I might have this truck try till I drop! LOL

That's the plan that was voiced out loud and clear by the SWMBO. (She Who Must Be Obeyed).

That was my plan for the last truck, a keeper for a long long time, ICE and another pickup said otherwise. Now with my current truck, not so sure if I want to keep it for more than a few years. Will see in 2019 when the new Diesel has been out for a while and what the specs are.
