Why does my productivity screen default to trailer tab on startup
I have a brand new 2016 f150 Screw lariat and I connected a trailer for the first time this weekend. now whenever I start up my truck the productivity screen is on the trailer tab. Also it keeps track of the miles on the trailer but I have disconnected the trailer and it keeps increasing the miles shown on the trailer that I used. I was hoping that it would keep track of the miles just when the trailer was connected. do I need to change something in the set up or trailer tab to turn off the mileage counter and stop it from defaulting to the trailer tab on startup
Thanks

Have you checked the owners manual that came with the truck?

You have a trailer setup in your towing screen. Delete that trailer then it should default to whatever it was you were last viewing when you shut truck off.

Seriously, go to towing and deselect the trailer from the menu, your supposed to disconnect the boat trailer when it hits the water, but when you have it set up to tow said trailer it may stay on the screen until you deselect it

Thanks. I never deselected the trailer. I'll have to look at it when I get home as it wasn't obvious to me when I disconnected the trailer how to deselect it but I am sure that's my problem. Too bad they didn't barcode the stickers you have to put on the trailer for the backup control. That way they could have automated the process and made the probackup useful
