Default where is this one being built

I'm trading my 2016 Lariat for a custom order 2019 Lariat. I've been able to obtain the VIN from the dealer and wondering where it's being built. Also does COTUS still work for tracking?

VIN 1FTEWIC53KFC16118

Thanks

The 11th position in the vin is the plant code so F would mean it will be the Michigan Truck Plant.

Not really. Both plants use sub-assemblies from the same place. Fit and finish might be the only factor.

Sounds dumb but every vehicle I've ever had build in KFC seemed to have more issues. Maybe my imagination, but I prefer Dearborn.

KFC makes good chicken, but I agree, they can't build a truck.
