My dealer has free coffee and muffins while I wait. Also has a gym upstairs. 40 dollars and they top off fluids and free tire rotation and car wash.

Got them from www.quickjack.com on sale. They sell them thru Homedepot also. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Quick-Ja...110V/309646718 Be sure to get the truck/suv adapters, you'll need them.

@Rnlcomp Thanks for the link. I put it in my wish list at Home Depot, that'll save me some money when I get around to buying one.

Yep, I also go to DIY, which is 0 miles from my house, and free of charge. And the monkey does a really good job. Ha ha. I have to say I hope next time is less messy, with a cut-off (in the middle) gallon jug. We'll see .

For years, I went to the dealer for the oil changes and tire rotations. They severely screwed up on an oil change and after the 3rd attempt to get it right, I did it myself and avoided the dealer since.

Until my extended warranty runs out i'll get my oil changes at the local Ford dealership.
If they screw up or not, i'm on record with their scheduled oil changes with the warranty easily covering a blown engine for what ever cause and with minimal to no hassle.

Normally I do it myself. Occasionally, I come across a coupon for the local dealer and will use it.

I would not trust Quick Lube, Jiffy Lube etc....the 2.7 requires an extra long drain procedure.

^I agree with that.
The one time i had my oil changed on my truck at one of those quick lube chains, i asked what kind of oil filters do you guys use.
Answer: Frams. One of the worst oil filters out there.

Those places use the cheapest oil filters they can get and who knows whats in those bulk oil drums they use.

I go to dealer, they are the same price as others. I have a 19 year old Buick LeSabre with only 60k actual miles, I bought new, I have a very good privately owned garage that I take it to. They are excellent mechanics and for oil changes, they are very competitive, plus they really do a nice job of washing, vacuuming and checking everything so that if there are any mechanical problems, they inform me before anything gets worse.
