Default When will 2016 Std Cab/short box be built?

I have searched many posts here but have not found a definitive answer as of yet. I am hoping to order from the local Ford dealer in January but have not contacted them yet.

I know this is not a popular combination any more but it would be perfect for my needs. Will I be able to get the E-locker with the standard 3.5NA engine?

Lots of conflicting information on the net and I am hoping the knowledgeable folks here can help out.

Thanks for any info.

Bob

Did you receive your truck yet? I would love to see pics if possible. My dealer cannot tell me for sure when the SC/SB will be built....they thought Fall of 2016.

They are building RCSB now. There are no current material holds on them. It's running about 14-16 weeks order to delivery.

My trucks build has been completed and sent to rail. The last update I received was it has encountered a significant delay during shipping. ETA is TBA. I hope it didn't fall off the train!

I love the way they look, I just need more room than a single cab offers.

Unless you need to carry more than 3 people it's not too bad. We just did a 1000 mile trip in mine with 3 people. There is enough room behind the seat for lots of stuff. I'm 6'2" 200 and can stretch out in the cab, I don't even put the seat all the way back.

There is a '15 RCSB 4x4 with the 3.5 that is used on the campus where I work for trash pickup. It's a really good looking truck, I would love to have one for a simple DD.

Thankyou crankinaway. Would you post some photos of your truck when you get it? I am getting ready to talk to my dealer in January and need something to hold on to. Thankyou.
