Default When tuning...

using my SCTX4 I was planning on getting 3 "canned" tunes form Stage3 by 5star Tuning....

However I have a leveling kit and 33s going on the truck next week. Can I go ahead and order the tunes and calibrate later - or should I wait and do it all at once? My issue is they aren't letting me add notes or comments to adjust for tire size.

When I ordered a tune for my mustang a few years ago it asked for all my mods, wheel/tore size, gear ratio etc...

The x4 they sent you doesn't have user adjustable options? Usually at least the revs per mile (which is how you adjust for tire size) is a user option.

I'm using an unmarried x4 that I had already. Right now it has no tunes, but are you saying I can adjust that separately?

From what I have been told, you can't compensate for different tire sizes / speedometer calibration using an performance tuner, it is controlled by the body control module and not the ecu. I went with the Hypertech 742501 for speed calibration and it works great.

At this time you CAN NOT calibrate with the SCT X4. SCT is still working on this but they should be releasing an update soon that will allow you to do so.

Is it just the x4 or the x3 as well?
