When to order?
Hey guys! New here. Need some opinions. I'm planning on ordering a new truck, august was the plan. But I have heard that the 19s might be delayed a bit is this true? I dont want the truck to show up any later than probably November. Delivery is usually 8 to 12 weeks correct? So if I order a 19 when the order banks open up am I in for a long wait?

Production startup is 10/22/18 at DTP and 11/05/18 at KCAP for the 2019... so if you want it by November, you'll be ordering a 2018. Plus, if you order early in the model year, you'll be fighting all the dealer inventory purchases.

You've got this delay to deal with. Must be a bigger backlog than normal right now and may take a while to resolve.

The fire at the Ford supplier is largely dealt with at this point. The lines are back up and running. Hell, my truck, which was ordered 5/1 and was directly impacted by the fire, is still scheduled for build 6/2 and delivery 6/16. I wouldn't get too worried about that.
Now, lots of the rebates expire 7/9, and no one is sure what will happen after that. I know my PCO and bonus first responder discounts expire then... so if my ordered truck isn't here, I'll have to figure something out.
