Default Wheels and help needed?!?

Hey team,

I am torn. I made another post about wheel fitment but this is one about style. Personal choice of course but I need help from the community.

I am changing my wheels out and am torn between two styles and set ups. I’m stock suspension right now sitting on rims I no longer like. My two choices are down to the following.

20x9 +20mm Fuel Contra Satin Black.

or…

2025 F-150 Lariat OEM Gloss Black Wheels. New take offs. Price is close to being the same within a few bucks.

I will likely be rolling my current OEM tires for now as they are brand new but will upgrade to a more aggressive Toyo or Falken next year.

why these 2 selections? One like the more aggressive look and stance of the Fuel’s and on the other hand I like the OEM stock look as well. I wish the Fuels were in gloss black but they are not and gloss black aftermarket wheels I like are more than I want to spend. The OEM are gloss black but less aggressive stance of course but do look nice on better tires.

I really welcome everyone thoughts and opinions and realize it’s personal taste. But I want to know your taste.

Thank you

I like the 2025 rims better. I have very similar if not the same on my Expedition and have thought many times about taking them off of my wife's car and putting on mine.

Either way, ceramic coat them immediately so they stay decent looking.

I actually don't mind those Fuel wheels, but personally I'd go with the OEM ones.

I have the Fuel Tech, love them, had anthracite, and then again in black. Agreed, 90% I don't like tho.

Yep most I hate but those look great. Very nice actually. Some of the wheels I swear were just made for the sake of making a wheel….

I lean back and forth. The gloss 20’s from a 2024/25 truck may look funny on a 2018 Lariat so I am wondering about that also.

The fuels allow me to do a 20mm offset for a little more aggression. The fuels are a satin black which isn’t gloss which I like better and may not hold up year after year.

Same. Way too many people have them and they all look the same.
