Default Wheel spacers

I'd like my wheels to set out a bit more. I see the actual spacers only go to a half inch...orrrr you have to bolt on a whole new deal ..with maybe a 1.5 inch spacer to clear the original bolts. Are these safe to use ? Any reliable brands if so ? Thanks.

I have one inch bolt on bora spacers on mine, had to take two mm off the length of the studs in the rear to fit in the pockets of my limited 22s.

Yes they increase potential issues due to adding an additional 6 bolted connections. The risk is pretty small if you buy quality spacers and properly install them. I have had 1.25" spacers on my truck for almost 5 years now without any issues.

I currently have 1.5 inch spacers on mine, thought i bought 1 inch

I dont have a problem or issue with them, they are wheel centric and bolted right up without requiring any sort of modification.

Id really like to try the 1 inch.

Ive been running ebay aluminum spacers on all of my rigs for the past 10 years no issues.

And the post above, they are misleading you they are not "forged" aluminum simply 6061-T6 round bar turned on a lathe with studs pressed in them. Perfectly fine but not some high dollar "forged" stuff just round bar blanks turned down which is perfectly fine but alot of places mislead people. However, I bet those spacers are 100% fine I just hate that vendors throw the forged word around. Im sure plenty of the listings I have bought from said that they are forged.

Same reason why I am 100% comfortable running spacers from ebay from the same seller for years, because EVERYONE makes them the same way, from the same material. Bora has not found some super secret alloy that nobody has access to.

Hmm, 1 inch spacers i might be interested in, but even those might put my wheels out too far.

I think we're running into stud length issues at 1 inch.

Okay. Very stupid question on spacers...

Seem like an easy modification with good looking results.

So, for those that have added spacers, do you tend to clip curbs any more or less? Is your turning radius any different?

Knowing where your wheels are isn't related to wheel spacers, so clipping curbs, that's on you.

As for turning, it'll technically increase the turning radius a little as well as increasing your positive scrub radius.
