9” +18 will stick out just past flush. And 8.5” with 0 will stick out 12mm further than that (and 44mm more than oem). The truck in that photo...hard to tell from that angle, but going to say it’s closer to flush with the top center of the wheel well. So if flush is what you want, go with the 9” +18 between those two.

Id def reccomend the 0. They won't stick out too much at all. Go to custom Offsets gallery and check the pics there. You'll be more than fine with 0 offset.

This is incorrect based on what the OP wants....which is no poke, and a 0 with either a 8.5” or 9” rim will poke 1” plus or minus. For a fit as close to flush as possible without being recessed, 9” +18 is the way to go between those two.

Thank you
That angle makes it really hard to tell. I've been having the same problem trying to see how wheels will fit, most sites have a 3/4 angle like that where you can't tell at all if they stick out or not.

17X8 0 offset XD300 Pulley wheels 265-70-17 Nitto G2's Icon Stage 1 set to1 3/4 inch lift in front, Ford dealer takeoff flares installed.

Same wheels 245-70-17 stock height no flares.

Does that help? KM

Are those considered flares? I thought that was just some kind of trim, I'm pretty sure my truck has those.

I'm so torn myself. I really like Method 17x8.5 Double Standards but hesitant because of the 0 offset. Some F150 pics I see, the 0 offset more or less is under the fenders like yours, others they're way the hell outside the fenders. Honestly I can't even decide on a wheel style or color, I'm hopeless.

1st 2 photos with the small factory flare/trim, second set of 2 no flare/trim on OEM tires. Flare/trim adds just under 3/4 inch extra coverage, my 265's Nitto G2's are 10.71 wide and the tread is just inside the edge. The 8 inch 0 offset rim is fully inside the bare factory fender lip, KM

The reason 2017bluetruck 0 offset do not stick far out is because the rim is only 8” wide. I think when you say “Way the hell out”, you are referring to a 9” rim 0 offset, or a 10” rim with negative offset....and also, a wider tire. My 305 will stick out more than the exact same rim with a 275. Further, the tire brand makes a diff too...some are more rounded, some are square. You are looking too much at one parameter, you have to consider rim width, offset, and tire width all together.
