Default Wheel balancing with weights

Hey guys so I had my new wheels put on a couple weeks ago and it struck me as kind of weird the way they put the weights on. Some wheels have a couple of bigger weights, others have a lot of bigger weights and one has a bunch of smaller weights. I'm wondering why each wheel would be so different in the amount of weights required and I don't think I've ever owned a vehicle that required such a large strip of weights ... not to mention they look really ugly. Pics below of each wheel. Thoughts?

And I know they are dirty :/ .. work full time and have a 4 month old babygirl at home, hard to find free time these days

Perfectly normal. It's the tires, not the wheels so much, that are different weights.

Depends on the tire place and the amount of weight your tires are out of balance. If your off 4 oz, you don't want them stacking 1/4 oz weights. Or you have a tire guy who just grabbed what weights were equal to the total and threw them on. (3) 1/4 oz weights vs (1) 3/4 oz weight
