What would you like to be added / changed on the 2019 F-150

Zap the auto start/stop and go with the GM approach, run on 4/6/8 as needed.

Would like the intergraded tool box in the bed, either on the side or possibly resessed in the bottom near the tailgate. Include dual exhaust as factory option.

platzs 02-05-2018 08:33 AM

Wireless charging pad in the console. Upfitter switches available as an option. 110V plug in the bed with 15A rating.

tuflehundon 02-05-2018 08:59 AM

Get rid of push button start. Upfitter switches. Black factory rim option.

EcoBooster71 02-05-2018 09:14 AM

I wish Sync didnt need 10 button presses to go from one album to another on my usb stick

idrive 02-05-2018 09:14 AM

I think this is going to show how different everyone is.

I wouldn't buy the cylinder deactivation and I wouldn't buy any vehicle that didn't have a push button start.

The 110v outlet in the bed and charging pad are great ideas.

doomgazer 02-05-2018 09:17 AM

Bring back multi-color ambient lighting. :)

I agree somewhat, the GM approach is ok in thought but has its failures, me and a buddy each own a 2007 chevy suburban with AFM and he's putting a motor in his and I'm buying time.
+1 for the 110vac in the bed, but I kinda like the Ram boxes.

BigFordXLT 02-05-2018 09:40 AM

The 110v outlet in the bed is a great idea. I’m an STX driver so I like things simple. I can’t think of anything at the moment that I would like added. I could add some changes to the STX package though...lol

Don't think you will ever see 15amp 110v plug in the open bed of a truck. Electricity and water do not mix. Can't use a gfci plug with no grounding.

BigFordXLT 02-05-2018 09:52 AM

why not make it recessed inside bed with a watertight flip cover?

Most likely because they still have to plan for that one idiot who would stand in the rain and try to plug in his toaster.

chimmike 02-05-2018 09:59 AM

cylinder deactivation on the 5.0? nah.

won't ever happen on the ecoboosts without having to run the turbos under boost for the load, either.

Auto stop/start is on more vehicles than you would believe, including luxury vehicles. Keep it, just get used to it with the times, as they are a' changin'!

Cylinder deactivation on a 2.7/3.5 liter would be pointless. Can you even cut cylinders off with a turbo??

I'd also ditch the auto start/stop.

chimmike 02-05-2018 10:05 AM

I'd love to see an option for manual hub locks. And a floor-mounted manual trans case shifter. More or less bare-bones 4x4 options for somebody to build a nice off road vehicle without having to jump to a raptor. Be nice to have disconnecting sway bar links for the FX4 package.

Integrated bed storage, which I think would add some strength to the aluminum (obviously at a cost to payload though).

Wolperdinger 02-05-2018 10:06 AM

No reason to ditch the auto start, because some people actually like it. Best approach would be to have it remember the last setting when starting up the truck again, or be able to disable it in the truck's settings.

Ohsix 02-05-2018 10:10 AM

Replace Maps
Fix heated seat settings on remote start
Replace head lights so people can see at night all models
Remove sunroofs
Make tow mirrors lower price
Add 36 gal tanks all models
Stop playing games with prices at dealers
Make 2.7 user friendly when checking oil
Remove Orange coolant with block heaters
Replace Plastic oil pan with stamped steel

I would love to have an option for manual locking hubs and manual t-case shifter also. You would know what you have and all those IWE issues would be a thing of the past.

speeddemon0712 02-05-2018 10:51 AM

Fix the dang wind noise from the driver side door without the consumer having to do 12 different "fixes" that may or may not work. That's my only complaint with my truck. I'm going to try the rubber tubing on the upper corner of my door first. Then I'll adjust the door itself if that doesn't work.

chimmike 02-05-2018 10:59 AM

Well, for another thing, with a manual t-case, Ford could sell a ton to folks who want to tow a vehicle behind their RV who end up buying a Jeep because they need 4wd for some reason or another.

They could always make the push button start an option on the higher trim levels. I had a new Lariat as a Loaner while mine was getting warranty work done. Hated the push button start. It'll likely keep me in an XLT when I decide to buy new or newer. It was honestly one of the few things I didn't like.

The other was the plethora of buttons everywhere. Didn't do anything my truck didn't, but had more than twice the amount of buttons. Looked cluttered.

Especial86 02-05-2018 11:22 AM

I'd like to see a reverse camera that doesn't get so dirty as often, and can be switched on indefinitely while driving forward.

I'd also like to see some actual 18-24 volt outlets that are capable of charging cordless power tools in the cab..

It would also be nice to have Ford send these trucks out with a little more lift upfront, at least 1 inch more.

And ditch the Now common 3.31 gear ratio for a more practical 3.55 to 3.73.

Probity 02-05-2018 11:32 AM

Front tow hooks as an option (or as part of some tow package option) on 2wd trucks. I get it why 4wd have them but do not understand why the truck most likely to get stuck (a 2wd) doesn't have good attachment points as some kind of factory option on the front of the vehicle to help with recovery. Yeah you can retro-fit them but it's a real chore. Sure you can attach a tow line under the front but then say goodbye to the front trim/bumper...

HDET87 02-05-2018 11:51 AM

I have a 2018 Lariat with 502a package and ~7000km on it.
This is what I would like to see in the new trucks. I think it'll be 2020 or 2021 when they redesign it again.
Not everyone will like it but this is what I would like to see in a somewhat luxry half ton truck.

- Heads up display on the windshield that shows navigation and speed among other things. Some higher end vehicles have this already.
- Cooled rear seats
- Better infotainment system. Car manufacturers need to give up on the infotainment software. Let the companies who specialize in this, make the software. I understand the infotainment system is very specific to the options in the car, but they can contract it out to someone. Or use Android.
- Better Infotainment screen. the 2018 screen is a huge step up from a 2014 screen, but they can do better. An ipad or Galaxy Tab s3, level of screen Yes it will be expensive.
- Fully digital Instrument cluster with even more adjustments to personalize it.
- V8 Ecoboost or V8 Supercharged
- Dual exhaust on the V8
- Auto tailgate up - Similar to the new dodge
- Digital keyfob that shows if the truck is locked or unlocked, time remaining on remote start etc...

That's all I can think of. Love the new 2018 by the way. A lot of people hate "all this technology" in these new trucks. i.e. the infotainment screen, stop and go, collision assist etc.... All these people don't understand that this is where the car industry is heading.

lawndart 02-05-2018 12:21 PM

Less self-centering effect effect from the steering wheel.

CityHunter 02-05-2018 12:24 PM

Rear reclining seats.
In-floor storage.
Skip-fire cylinder deactivation for the 5.0 that can be enabled/disabled at will.
Optional mild hybridization for any trim and engine choice.
Full hybrid option available in any trim.
Diesel option available in any trim.

Go on the dodge forums and the guys there complain all day about the cylinder deactivation lol I love the push button start too

funnyman06 02-05-2018 01:03 PM

i dont understand the hate for the push button? I had it in my focus st and it was great. i would like the console shifter to remain an option even in higher tiers, the 110 in the bed would be nice, and the reclining heated cooled back seat makes sense. i can certainly see the desire for manual locking hubs and t-case.

Power inverters have a ground circuit, and gfci outlets work just fine with them. I work for a utility company and our trucks have outlets on the front and rear bumpers and in the cabs hooked to a huge inverter. They are all gfci and nobody has had any issue with them. The only thing is a household gfci outlet like we use will fail prematurely due to the elements, likely within the warranty period, so they’d want to design one more weatherproof or put the gfci in the inverter. Also no one ever tests them.

The real ossue with his idea is the 15a. That’s a HUGE power inverter.

To to answer the original question:

i second the outlet in the bed, would like something like the Ram boxes, and would like them to incorporate a manufacturing change that prevents so many trucks from turning into fish tanks when it rains.

Rich807 02-05-2018 01:34 PM

#1 thing if I could only pick 1 would be to have them ship the 4x4 models with WAY less rake in the front end. IMHO these trucks look like total crap from the factory because of the setup they use. Embarrassing to have people come up & talk to you about how low to the ground the front end of your "Off-Road" model 4x4 is.

After the above I would like them to:

Move the 'homelink' opener to the overhead console or rear view mirror... anywhere but on the visor.

I'd prefer to have had the shifter on the column rather than in the center console (no I don't want to give up the other nice parts of my Lariat interior to have that)

Redesign the bed-to-tailgate joining surfaces so that everything fits relatively snug together & doesn't have 900 oddball angles... anyone that's tried to 'seal' that area with weatherstrip after they installed a shell or tonneau cover knows about this one.

Paint the plastic fender flairs & plastic rear cab 'caps' with the same paint as on the rest of the body. In less than 3 years mine are becoming a different color than the rest of the truck.

Heated seats in the rear / leather trim for the rear doors like the front doors have.

110 outlet in rear of the bed. I use the inverter on my truck a number of times a year to air up inflatable kayaks. Be nice to plug-in & do that right where the 'work' is being performed.

Cheesy video of them using the 110v in the Tacoma. They run a saw and a toaster... Stop the vid when they start doing the truck walk around...

2 reasons.

1. No were to put my keys when I'm in the truck. They dig into my side if I keep them on my hip. (I know, 1st world problems)

2. This is the more important one. Theft. At my last Condo complex, 10 vehicles with push button start were broken into on a single night. They targeted all vehicles with the push button using a range extender. 2 people that had push button cars had the fobs farther away or in something that shielded the signal. It was just way to easy for the thieves to get into once they had the right hardware. 2 of the cars were stolen. (both Mercedes)

Yes, to having a full time rear view camera. My 2018 has the forward rake so the rear view mirror is almost useless in close quarters and a full time high quality rear view camera would supplement the rear view mirror nicely on the highway. Perhaps the camera could be mounted where the third tail/brake light is thus giving it a good high perch for an expansive view.

MNSportsman 02-05-2018 02:38 PM

A couple thoughts:

1. Ability to auto-adjust headlights from w/in the cab (my 2010 Tundra had this, was very nice for when towing)
2. Tighter turning radius
3. More seat padding/more comfortable seats
4. Less wind noise/quieter cabin
5. Wireless AA/Carplay
6. Physical button for HSW

platzs 02-05-2018 02:50 PM

This would be great. A from the factory level/leveling kit, with no potential warranty issues would be a smash hit. Or adjustable air bags to allow ride height adjustments depending on towing, cargo, etc.

SHO4CY 02-05-2018 03:00 PM

1. Make push button start available in the XLT
2. Make the 360 degree camera, lane keep, and radar cruise available on XLT
3. Make a center armrest available for the rear seats on XLT supercrews
4. Make the 4A setting available on the XLT
5. Have an electronically actuated front lower air dam like the Ram now has. No messing around trying to remove it when going off road. Just hit a button, lower air dam goes up, and ready for off-road. This idea may also allow less factory rake.
6. Have Bilstein make your factory shocks Ford or some aftermarket company. Can't believe how bad some of the +15's ride. Mine is not great with the 20" wheels, but I've ridden in a 15' with only 40k miles and 18" rims that rode substantially worse than even mine.
7. Put a bumper step in the rear bumper like Chevy does and make the tailgate step standard on XLT and above.
8. A wash nozzle for the backup camera being standard. That thing gets dirty all the time. Probably one for the front as well.
9. Less black on the sport trim interior, more grey. Also, sport trim should be devoid of any chrome. Either black or grey chrome only.
10. Steering column shifter option for sport trim.

Key pad on door with STX package.

Griffbones 02-05-2018 07:58 PM

Some decent seats, why are most Ford F150 seats so uncomfortable. Got in a friends Chevy last Friday and the seats were super comfortable, my wife's 2018 Ford Fusion and her last Fusion a 2012, both comfortable. I have never had an F150 with truly comfortable seats.

stowaway 02-05-2018 08:07 PM

120v 15a would be 1800w. Those inverters are big and need airflow to keep cool .You also would be using some massive battery cables, would need 150-200a alternator output just to keep up, and would be expensive to integrate. Won't happen until Ford goes with a 48v system and mild hybrid system like Jeep/ram are introducing.

If I needed that kind of amperage, I'd just run a Honda 2000i.

wkk1 02-05-2018 08:07 PM

Sounds like you want a Ram?

white15lariat 02-05-2018 08:14 PM

Full digital instrument panel, complimented by a much larger infotainment/center screen. Dodge nailed it across their line with this, it's awesome. Even the Focus has better interaction between the screens.

HUD

Front and rear factory dashcams, record to an SD card, or with the 4G subscription, free synching to the cloud.

Independent rear suspension

cadent50 02-05-2018 08:35 PM

I like a lot of these suggestions and agree with most. My additional suggestion would be to eliminate the F150 (or whatever else there is out there) logo embossed into the tailgate. I'm glad I have a '16, and would probably not consider another one, if and when the time comes based on that alone. It's a terrible trend I think was started by Toyota.

acdii 02-05-2018 08:44 PM

How about 5-8K off MSRP. Make them more affordable. You can get a Lexus GX for less than a Lariat. It might not tow or haul as much, but you get the point.

SCrewYou 02-05-2018 08:51 PM

led headlights should be standard on lariat, wireless charging pad for trucks with buckets and console, make the power tailgate raise as well.

Meh, I agree with you, but it’s not like everyone else isn’t doing it too. Ford’s not an oddball. Kinda like side strakes for the modern era.

I’d love for them to fix the wind leaks as well. Ford, unlike everyone else, can’t seem to build a consistently quiet truck.

Stu Cazzo 02-05-2018 09:09 PM

I dont want cylinder deactivation...I dont want start/stop...I wana be running on all cylinders always on all the time.

Make the front and rear cameras recordable like dashcams so we can "capture those moments" and have real time clips to post in the "douche bag of the day" thread!

Scrappy Doo 02-05-2018 09:11 PM

Led highlights standard. All trims.
4a standard on all trims.

Improved stereo

That's it for me.

jtnuge 02-05-2018 09:11 PM

Better air flow when you have the settings for dash/defrost, floor/dash etc. A dash that does not warp in the front.

Lets_go_bills 02-05-2018 09:48 PM

redd7188 02-05-2018 11:55 PM

When will Ford release the coming changes for the 2019? The new Chevy is really no threat but that new Dodge has me thinking. Ford needs to tell us something soon.

X-bolt 02-06-2018 07:28 AM

+1 on the led headlights standard equipment. Also on the 2.7 eco boost a re-design to make checking engine oil easy

2017ExecFx4 02-06-2018 09:00 AM

I love this thread - shows how hard it is to make a vehicle that appeals to the masses.

Ford is rumored to have an all new truck in 2020 (incidentally, so is Toyota). Many of these responses highlight why the CAFE regulations are a REALLY bad way to implement lower oil usage.

The statistics show that buyers want "bigger" every single time gas prices drop. Without fail, bigger vehicles are sold. Ergo - buyers want bigger and more power while the Fed is telling Manufacturers to make smaller , lighter and higher economy. Kind of a crummy combo.

Some reactions:

1. keyless start - "no where to put your keys"? Seriously? There is a MASSIVE storage bin right next to you with a shelf. Also - try going keyless. I have "one key" on my key fob (house)....and that is about to go by-by with digital locks.

2. Navigation, etc. With the advent of Car Play and Android Auto - these features are now worse than useless. They cost money and; are out-dated very quickly. Just put a really nice display that uses your phone to drive content. Spend if you want to make the same money (which they do) charge me for better speakers, amp, sub, etc. At least let me pay for something I'll use.

3. Seat Material - notice I didn't say "Leather". The leather options are crappy - for both Lariat and Platinum. I would be MUCH happier with a synthetic material that looked like leather, but performed much better. (as an example, check out the Mercedes MB Tex - cars with 50-60k miles look brand new....I don't need *leather* I need the functionality of leather w/o the drawbacks.

Ford is already leading in most categories. If you study the new Chevy Silverado, you'll notice they didn't really introduce much that isn't already available on the Ford.

A couple of tricks with storage - yes....but otherwise - GM spent all that money re-designing their truck to basically deliver what Ford already has.

It will be an interesting couple of years.

ABolt 02-06-2018 09:18 AM

Reality wish list:
Raptor Steering wheel with paddle shifters as an option on all trim levels.

Fantasy wish list:
Select-able rear gears: choose from 3.31, 3.55, or 3.73 depending on your current driving conditions - highway, around-town, towing, off-road, etc.

Exactly! Keyless start was a must for me on my new truck. My house is keyless, my garage is keyless, so my truck had to be keyless as well. The only key I have on my fob is for my Retrax tonneau lock. I wont buy another vehicle without it.

Same here. My fob never leaves my pocket (wish it was smaller though). Everything in my life is now keyless. Home and office. Keep backup physical keys in the truck if a lock ever fails.

Make the start/stop able to toggle off until turned back on. Secure door handles/locks. Way too easy to break into a Ford truck. Electronic e-brake across the board. The push to release e-brake is a joke. Redesign the oil pan. Add a drain valve rather than a plastic plug/oil shower. Remote oil filter would be nice. Bring back HID headlights.

I would like to see different is for the Automatic Start/Stop switch to work in reverse and be interchangeable with the current switch. I also would like to see Ford contract with Boise for a quality high-end sound system.

Actually we use GFCIs all the time because there is no ground . They actually measure current from the hot leg & the current coming back on the neutral. When there is any significant loss between what is going out & what is coming back the GFCI trips . IE: no ground required!

Rear Camera heating element/cleaner to prevent snow from building up when driving. Would have come in really handy yesterday

Fordzilla150 02-06-2018 01:29 PM

I was in a meeting with ford engineers years ago at a super duty lovers get together. One of the things we asked for then was 2 speed rear ends. It’s too bad they haven’t developed this by now.

WestOGuy 02-06-2018 01:48 PM

- Better headlights across ALL models (don't play games with safety).
- Improved Homelink range (don't want to wait until I'm at the driveway to work).
- Why is the Seat warmer on when there's no passenger??? It knows not to enable the airbag!
- Allow additional remote rear camera option (for a trailer). Switch to a remote camera when hooked to a trailer.
- OEM Curb feelers. (Ok, maybe not this one) ;)

Ford needs an F150 version of what Toyota does with the Tacoma TRD Pro. Something between the cushy, low sprung standard 4x4 configurations and the Raptor. The FX4 package just doesn't cut it for those who want off-road capability without the extreme specs and cost of the Raptor. The other manufacturers do a better job at this; the Ram Rebel comes to mind.

Also, Ford definitely needs to rip off the 110v outlet in a covered recessed box from the Tacoma.

+1 for the 110vac in the bed, but I kinda like the Ram boxes.

2007 Suburban, new motor at 75K. Was covered by warranty and a result of the sylinder shutdown stuff.....

For the love of god more modern headlights. I am not even talking about brightness. To sell a 50k truck that still uses halogen bulb with reflector lenses is insane. The Silverados basically come standard now with a projector housing and LED DRL strip.

If it weren't for the option of a center console shifter and the far superior power train choices, I would not have bought an F150 simply because of the antiquated headlights. At this price point it is inexcusable.

Heated seats on all trucks standard

Ricktwuhk 02-06-2018 02:08 PM

I would love to see Sync 4 have a new feature, with a big ASK button on the dash. The new owner of the $60,000 vehicle would not have to read the manual (a true hardship), or post on a forum, but simply push the button and say "Sync, can you tell me how to put the truck into drive?" Or, "Sync, I want to open my window. Is there a way to do that without breaking the glass?"

And it would also be able to answer "Why is this feature (fill in name of feature) offered/not offered?" The two answers would be "because we said so" and "because we don't care what you want".

These and other difficult questions could be easily answered by technology.

If the truck owner was to stupid to be able to push the ASK button, and simply shouted questions to the truck, then at the earliest opportunity the truck would simply drive off a steep cliff.

Proximity sensors on front corners would be really nice when backing trailers out of tight spots.

I agree - Would totally welcome an upgraded FX4 package more in line with the Pro or Rebel.

Cameras that you could use when driving. I would love to be able to look back at my trailer when driving to make sure the bikes are OK.

Cameras that will loop record to a USB. Why have to add a dash cam when we already have four of them on the truck.

A much improved GUI so that options can be turned on and off without having to see the dealer or use Forscan.

Door latches that work. How hard can it be :-)

wiread 02-06-2018 04:15 PM

I didn't read all of these, and mine is a minor suggestion, but an option in settings to calibrate the rear light sensor or put the sensor in the autodimming mirror on the driver side door rather than rearview. For those of us that put a cap on with tinted rear window, the auto dimming is essentially always off.

I actually like the feature at night, but realize I will no longer have it on my drivers side mirror. the review doesn't matter as it's all darkened thru there anyway.

and as for cylinder deactivation? please no. I'll take my chances on turbos and Auto SS to reach standards for now. Not that I think it's an issue, but a new battery or starter is much cheaper than an engine tear down to fix some rings and clean them to stop engine misfires.

This is one of the more interesting things I've heard lately.
So, the thieves were able to steal cars because the owners domicile was close enough to the car to provide signal? (and maybe the thieves helped, but that's the gist of it).
Wow! Makes me worry about traveling where I like to park CLOSE and in VIEW of my hotel room!

What's the solution? A film bag for keys at night?

2 reasons.

Honestly, I'm not criticizing, I'm curious. The truck is not "keyless". You still need to carry that big bulky key around to run it. I'm I missing something? The only difference is, whether you want the key hanging on the wheel or filling a cupholder.

tomjv 02-07-2018 10:34 AM

I'd want:
1. Better suspension, like ICON 2.5s all around.
2. Better headlights.
3. Bigger cup holders.
4. Pedal commander type gimmick as option.
5. HUGE reverse lights.
6. NAV that I can actually use while driving.
7. NAV that you can scroll the screen.
8. Shorter radio antenna.

Icons would be nice, but doubt it will ever happen as standard. The vast majority of truck owners never do any mods.

I don't think the pedal commander thing will either. Pedal commander is needed to correct the stock tuning which is done to meet EPA regulations.

Everything else I agree on. Especially the reverse lights. I'm about to add some flush mount LED's to my rear bumper.

IMO it’s keyless. The key stays in my jacket pocket. I don’t need to take it out to unlock it, start it, or lock it. Yes I do still have a fob on me, but it’s much smaller and pocket friendlier than my key to my old ‘13 F150.

All 4wd models should come with fender flares and 4a standard. Make PTM handles and mirror caps options on all trims as well as LED headlights. Things like power steps, bed lights, and mirror spotlights should also be open to all trims. It’s simple, if FORD would pay attention to the most common mods, they could offer these and make more money themselves. I’d have paid a lil more up front if it meant not having to do all these mods myself!!

RubyFX4 02-07-2018 05:43 PM

4A available on XLT, and LED heads and tails!

Sawdust102 02-07-2018 08:28 PM

Drive mode that stays on after you restart.
Would like headlights to turn on when I use snow/wet mode.
Tailgate release button in the cab. (warning if it is open)

JustaV6 02-07-2018 08:56 PM

I’ve been thinking about this for a few days now because I honestly couldn’t think of any reasonable item that a truck needs that we can’t get....but then it dawned on me: it would be very cool of Ford to bring back a true FX4 trim as opposed to the weak package offering they have right now. The old one had custom seats, lights, interior, etc plus the questionable skid plates and expensive sticker that we get now. Whenever I see the ‘14 model FX4s with those headlights, I get a little bit jealous.

But it other than that, the only thing this truck could use is maybe a center console keurig or a glove box mini bar

digitaltrucker 02-07-2018 09:01 PM

I have way too much packaged in my pants...theres no room in my pockets!:cool::cool::cool:

I'd like to see a fold-down rear seat arm rest in the XL/XLT models.

I'd also like to see radio upgrade options on any trim. I'd have paid more for that option.

Floor storage in the rear like in the Ram would be cool.

MeatWagon17 02-09-2018 04:04 PM

-Auto/Start stop PERMANENT shut off option
-LED heads/tails on all models
-Better back up lights
-Better suspension from factory with less rake
-Option for wheel to wheel step bars
-Bumper Step
-Tighter fit around tailgate to keep elements out
-Bigger cupholders
-Larger, AT tires on 4x4 models
-Less black inside. More greys/charcoals to lighten it up. Actually, an option to NOT have dark interior on sport models. Tan/caribou type interiors like Chevy would be nice for us guys that live on country roads

It would also be nice to have Ford send these trucks out with a little more lift upfront, at least 1 inch more.

And ditch the Now common 3.31 gear ratio for a more practical 3.55 to 3.73.

Living in PACNW, I 2nd your reverse camera comment. I'm constantly having to wipe it clean and seems the front is just as bad.

Redesign/replace the 4X4 system with something that doesn't rely on a $10 part.
Manual hubs/Tcase
Decent rear suspension
Headlights that are actually usable
Factory lift?
Make all stickers optional
Pushbutton start
Good tires from the factory available [dealer?]
Make all wheels available on all trim packages
Make the Egoboost sound badass
Make all colors available on all trims

acdii 02-09-2018 08:42 PM

That rear camera does clog up quick, but in case you didn't know, the front camera has a washer on it. It washes the lens when you wash the window. Works pretty good too.
