So, after a day of washing, claying, waxing... I noticed water wasn't draining from the hood cowling.. where the splined wiper motor shaft protrudes through the cowling.

After probing the the puddle of water I discovered a small metal object blocking one of the drain holes. At first, I didn't think much of it... maybe road debris?

But, I decided to take a look under the other wiper arm... and I found another identical metal object.

For their small size, I'd consider them heavy. They're solid and don't appear broken....

So, any ideas?
