In the circled space below, what is this little hole for? Truck is a 2018 STX SuperCrew 2wd if it matters.

What does tt stand for and what does it do?

 

its for you money and keys.

 

 

 

On the back is the plug for the brake controller if you want to add it. I added it on mine for about $100 and programmed to activate it in Forscan. Took about an hour. Otherwise just put some mints or change in it if using as storage.

 

Holds the card I swipe to get into my parking garage at work perfectly.

 

As the others have said, it is the space for the OEM trailer brake controller. Otherwise, it is just a cubby put there to keep it from being a hole in the dash.
