Default What size rear block…?

Hey everyone,

I put in front Rough Country lifting struts yesterday which gave me 2 inches of lift that was desired. My truck is slightly higher in the front now and am wondering what size rear block ideal to give me just a slight rake again. I’ve attached a couple pics of the truck and measurements.

1.25” is the stock block size, so a 2” block would net you a very tiny amount of rake.

It depends how much you want, and what you do with your truck. If you tow or haul often, you’re going to be sagging without a couple inches of rake.

Decide how much higher you want the truck and buy a block that matches that amount.
If you currently have a block in the truck, add that much to it.

I don’t ever really tow and sometimes use a bike rack for electric bikes and camping stuff. Im wondering if a 3/4 or 1.25 inch rake would be decent enough. I don’t know if there is a reasonably priced 2.25 inch block.

Off topic but OPs post looks like this on my desktop. The little dots are flashing color but when I click on each one, I am able to see the image. Weird.

I had the same issue when I leveled mine. It was a little nose high. When the guy who did my install called and told me it was ready, the first thing I asked was "is it nose high now?". He said a little bit. I was eating lunch at Red Robin and when I hung up, I ordered 2.5" Eibach rear blocks right there. I did the blocks myself a week later. Sits perfect to me. Sorry I don't have a better pic of mine sitting on level ground right now.

@dolvio I can't recall, weren't you the guy with a 4X2? If so, just get a 2" cast iron or steel block, stick in the rear, and you will lift the rear the same amount as the front. Dammit, that's just the way physics act.

Hey bud. That’s not me. I have an FX4. I’m trying to find a 2.25 inch bloc that’s not expensive (like halo lifts) and that would probably be my choice. Otherwise going 2.5. A 2 inch would give me about .5 to .75 rake and now sure that’s enough the second I throw my hockey gear in the back lol.

10/4, gotcha there. Ya, not sure if you could find a 2.25 block, I believe there are 2.5" blocks out there.
Yep, it doesn't take much to make an F150 drag it's butt across the carpet.
