Tried hard reset, reset with forscan, only half a screen with all info missing. Any suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Truck not rolled on side, but looks like it with half a screen. everything seems to work just can`t see anything on screen. Screen will not change. Tried everything I know. Guessing it might be apim, but not sure.

 

Maybe try to disconnect battery for 15-30 minutes?

Did u try holding the power button (on the radio and right seek(arrows be side media)till the screen resets?

 

Did you mistakenly change the theme to a 10 or 12 inch screen size using Forscan?

 

Yes tried the power button and right seek, and until this happened I had not used forscan for several months. No other problems other than half a screen, no icons or touch. Thanks for the suggestions. What are the indications of a bad apim.

 

Put it back to its original configuration.

 

Could this have happened because of a automatic update from Ford? Put what back to original?
