Default What is this harness for

Now first thing first....I forgot to take a picture.....

Under the storage tray on top of the dash, when I removed it a harness was plugged into the tray, but there is nothing electrical on the tray. The harness had wires running to it and appeared to just be clipped in like a holding piece. Any ideas?

Can you psst a link to the speaker? Does anyone have that speaker? I'm curious what trim levels it came in and how it would sound to add it.

It's listed as parts 7 and 8 in the second group of parts.

I'm wondering the same. I would like to add it but aftermarket speaker.

Mine has a speaker there. I have an XLT. I don't know the trim level. I have the center console and my ford touch and all that jazz.

Thank you for the pics! If you want to unload the factory speaker cheap let me know. I may toy with making a mount myself

The factory speaker is an 8 ohm POS. Most replacement 3.5" speakers are going to be 4 ohm.
