Default What is this? Does it matter??

So I was parking my truck in my driveway this morning and saw this thing on the ground. No idea what it is or where it goes or if it even matters??

This is the second thing I have found on the ground that has fallen off my new truck in less than a month. Is this common for you guys? Should I make the dealership go through and make sure everything is there and tight?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like a Door Bumper. Open all 4 doors and check to make sure you didn't loose one from one of your doors.

My edge used to loose them easily especially when I was drying/waxing the door jambs.

Thanks for the quick response, I just quickly looked at the doors but can't really see a spot its missing from, could you please give me some more detail on where on the door it goes.

Thanks again!

Open your door and look at where the lock catch is...

Thanks for these answers, however I am still an idiot and can't figure out where to put it. I looked where the door latches closed and there isn't anywhere I can see to put them, maybe I'm looking at the wrong area? There is no difference on either 4 doors of my truck and I haven't seen one of these anywhere else on the doors. There are a few screws that stick out I can put the end on and the door shuts, but it doesn't seem to make a difference/ be the actual spot it goes.

I took a picture of the door area to see if I am just looking at the wrong spots.
Again sorry for the confusion on this seemingly simple problem I am having.

Pre 15 models had a similar rubber stopper at inside top of doors. But they were made differently.

Only one per door, so look at each door, until you find missing pc.

They usually pop off when you clean and wipe down inside topside door.

Yep, looks like that part, more than door edge stopper.
