What did you do to your truck today? Reboot.

Picked it up from the dealership for one last round of repairs covered by warranty. Truck got its third driver's seatbelt assembly as the original one and the next only lasted 4 years before failing to retract. Also got the driver's window regulator replaced as freezing temperatures caused it to fail from the outside window sill rubber seal freezing against the glass.
Since my truck now has 114000 kilometers, I also got the spark plugs replaced.
Good news is my last payment comes out on Monday and the truck is now paid in full. I'm hoping for at least 4-5 more years of trouble-free use as the current prices of trucks are ridiculous.

Well, I have been finding out that the Perimeter Plus alarm works. I have the sensitivity dialed down a bit and the big mowers rolling by set off the alarm every time.

Filled it up today with 23 gallons. All the low fuel alarms were on 25 to empty on my 26 gallon tank. Ran it as low as I could since I had a total of $0.85 off per gallon in credits.
I thought I had the lie-o-meter calibrated but with the snow tires, snow & whatever, it’s still reading a mile extra per gallon (15.9) vs. hand calculated (14.96). I worry about recalibrating come Spring and summer tires.
Plastic swing out storage bin has been swinging in the wind for quite a while. The retaining rod guide fixture broke near the latch. I just installed a rubber lined metal cable clamp of the right diameter to be the new guide, worked perfectly.

Small update.
AutoTec and I are going to have a discussion about the T-Style system and how they need to change the listing.
It is not what they say it is.
It is Android 10, not 11. API level is 29, which is Android 10.
The display resolution is 1920x1200. Better than HD, but not 2k. Still need to root so I can see if the display actually supports 2k resolution but somehow I doubt it.
It also reports that the display is 8.3" in size, so they are definitely doing some build.prop hacks on this.
I need to root this thing to see how they manipulated the build.prop file. But now I understand why it is totally hidden and unreadable without root.
Do I still like the system... yes and I plan on keeping it. I just don't like being lied to about the specs.
Once I root it, I will find all of it's secrets.
I may even do a teardown to see who made the display panel.

First parts for a new project came in! Front of the truck is about to get a facelift.
Super happy with the look and quality of these lights so far. Tested out all the beam patterns and am very happy with it! All of them are SAE compliant too! Hoping the rest of the parts show up before the weekend to install.

Novsight Driving Light
Novsight Spot Light
