Default What antenna is this???

I have the pictured antenna on the roof of my 2017 Ford F150 XL Supercrew. I "believe" it is Sirius but I don't have Sirius in my truck. Any ideas? I bought a new ACM but am trying to figure out if that is the antenna needed for Sirius even though my car doesn't come with it in the Sync. It is up towards the front passenger side of my truck.

The apim for sync 3 uses this antenna even though you don't have nav. There is a spliter used to split off to sync 3 and the acm. I tried to get the spliter but never received it. So you could try that route or go with an external antenna for the acm

As far as I know all trucks have a GPS antenna even if they don't have NAV.

Default Part of Sync.........

since at least 2010 has been voice navigation even if you didn't has NAV in the vehicle. If you had a paired phone connected you could get directions to your destination. As far as I know this is still a part of Sync Services and requires a satellite antenna.

Have you looked at the original sticker (assuming you bought yours used)? Perhaps someone had Sirius and then changed the radio? Or, maybe they didn't, and put Sirius in, but pulled the head to return it to stock before you got it?

I agree that it doesn't make that much sense to have that antenna on there if you don't have satellite radio or GPS...
