Didn't see any reference to it in the user guide.

The interior thermometer is there if you have auto climate control.

I asked my sales lady about that on my truck and she said it was the microphone for sync and the phone.

At first I thought that, but then realized it would be in about the worst possible location. Too far away from your head.

I was just quoting what she said. It does look like a bad spot for a mic to me, I thought it would be in the center overhead.

As stated, that's the intake from your HVAC module to monitor interior temperature. Not a microphone.

My dealer told me it was the microphone for the voice system as well. Odd.

Its a scent sensor...if your bros hotbox you, it automatically opens the windows.
