Default What is this!

Anyone have an idea what this is coming off the frame just to the rear of the front suspension? Just wondering what purpose they have seeing they're not connected to anything.

Crash bars. If you like your legs, keep them. If you don’t care to have legs, remove them.

3rd.. rear crash bar. Do not remove it, same with the front one. Makes a big difference in an overlap crash.

Doh, I should have figured that out on my own. I don't don't recall my 2008 F150 having them. Thanks, now that won't be bugging me.
