Someone I know who lives in another state was looking at 2019 F-150's on a dealer lot. He said there were around 30+ F-150's on the lot.
He came across this window sticker on one of them and texted it to me. Anyone seen a window sticker like this before? And why wouldn't it have EPA data and then be shipped to a dealership and put on the lot if it isn't for sale?
If memory serves, these window stickers are often seen on the very first vehicles for a specific model year, because the EPA testing stuff hasn't been completed. Ultimately, it should be replaced before the vehicle is sold.
Yeah - there's *some* paperwork - related to the government (probably that EPA data) - that wasn't done when that truck shipped out. They should get a new window sticker, and replace that one with the new one when they get it.
I have also seen these window stickers on fleet vehicles. I have always assumed it is because fleet vehicles are already bought in bunches from companies and are not held to the same EPA standards.
