Default Weird Problem and Wrench Light

i was driving the truck on the highway at about 80mpg. The wrench light came on so I used my Bluetooth OBDII reader and noticed the readiness codes were showing not ready. 5/8 were not ready. About 5 minutes later I lost power, coasted to a stop, and the truck wouldn’t turn off or start.

Returned home one and it lost power and coasted one more time. We left for a week. Came back and no wrench light. I used the scanner to read the readiness codes and performed the appropriate drive cycle. Everything went READY.

This then happens two more times. I got a better reader and read that I had code U0422 Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module.

Now the truck is fine. No wrench. No readiness faults.

I cant make it do it nor can I predict when it will happen. Any thoughts or things to test?

I got excited when I saw wench in the title, this is a let down.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. That is a new one to me. I hope you can get to the bottom of it. Does the dealer have any suggestions?

i haven’t gone to the dealer. Way past warranty. I tried to change the title. Hasn’t worked.

Gotcha on the warranty...but with this sort of issue it might be worth a shot to at least get a diagnosis. There's nothing worse than being stranded when you can least afford it.

The problem is that it is intermittent. No codes, no light right now.
