Weird Electrical/Speaker system/Sync issue
Hi All -
Been a member here for years and had the misfortune of getting a lemony 2015 Lariat Screw and I'm desperate for an answer.
The problem always starts when the rear driver's side door speaker begins to crackle and hiss like it's blown. Once that happens, the interior chimes/backup assist, etc. stop playing through the speaker system and only play through the little dash speaker instead. At the same time, my turn signals click at a different rate, my seatbelt alarm stops going off and occasionally my remote lock will switch from all doors to just driver door.
This will go on for several days, and then disappear just as quickly as it comes on. Then everything will be normal - and the rear speaker goes back to working just fine - and it will continue that way for days, sometimes weeks until the problem returns randomly again.
I can't attribute the problem to any certain thing - whether it be weather or a driving condition or anything else. Which makes it really difficult to get into the dealer when the problem is happening.
Anyone experience this problem and even better, find a fix for it?
Thanks!
