Driving today with stereo on when all of a sudden music stops and it starts making a static and beeping noise. Few seconds later the whole sync system reboots and all is back to normal.
Anyone ever have this happen?

 

Sync 3 doing a software update and rebooting? Was it trying to use your phone as a hotspot to do an update?

 

Once my display turned off When I was changing stations and wouldnt work until I turned truck off and on. Never happened again.

 

What you described is what happens when the government activates the internal microphone and camera. You weren't doing anything illegal were you?

I should've worn my tin foil helmet. Don't know about the update. Phone isn't connected to it as a hotspot.
