Default Any Regrets to Tonneau Cover Purchase?

Thought I would take a poll on whether you are a fan of the Cover purchase you made. If you are not please share the reason why if it is the brand/model you purchased or some other cause. I am still up in the air but am leaning toward making a purchase of a Bak MX4.

Default Extang

On my Sierra 2500 I had an American Truck Cover USA roll up cover. Held up great for 10 years, never a problem.

New Ford F-150 and bought an Extang 2.0. I didn’t want to spend $1700 on a cover so I spent $700. I wanted waterproofing that used the Fords top rails, good looks, and security. I got it all.

I assesed how I used my bed. The only time I used the entire bed uncovered was moving otherwise it was mostly closed. If I want the entire bed, I can simplify unhook it and remove it. My bed is basically a secure “trunk”.

Thw cover is well made. I think it is a keeper!

I have a Revolver x2. I probably wouldn't get it again as it freezes here in MN. My truck is in a heated garage, but when I'm at the office, it will freeze and you can't roll it up.

I love the cover except for that.

I like and am satisfied with my Undercover locking tonneau cover. I knew going in I would have to raise the tonneau cover to lower the tailgate but I have one of the world's largest locking trunks on the road. LOL I don't have "full" use of the bed either but I knew that as well, but I have a utility trailer for that stuff.

Default LoMax

I am satisfied with the LoMax from Agri-Cover (Agricover.com). Hard top that folds into thirds easily and does not leak (w/ included tailgate gasket seal) while pouring rain at 65mph. Nuf said.

And that the company is almost too nice when dealing with warranty issues. I might be more impressed with their service than their product.

I bought the same cover, I have -0- complaints/issues, had a bak flip before, I hated the look of it, the seals never flattened out, I sold it for half what I paid for it.

I have a Leer 700 on my other truck, great cover, takes 2 guys to remove it though.

I looked at that one but you can't fold the 3rd piece up and loose like 2 feet of bed space. That was a deal breaker for me. I like how flush it sits though.

i dont regret buying a tonneau cover, but i regret buying the one i bought. i got a great deal on it, but it leaks like a sieve and they stopped making them so i cant get parts for it. i really do like the retractable design though and my next one will definitely be another retractable.

I like the tonneau covers because I like how they look on the trucks, plus they keep others from seeing what’s in the bed when we have things back there. I haven’t noticed any improvement in gas mileage, but that’s fine since it’s more about appearance for me.

Another one for the Lomax. Great cover, great price and keeps my bed dry. Also love the super low profile, and my remote tailgate still works.
