Hello, colleagues.
I'm sharing my situation and hope you can advise me on what to do. I have a 2015 F150, XL trim, which has an instrument cluster with a simple 2-inch screen. So I decided to upgrade to an XLT trim with a 4-inch digital screen that I bought used. It looks much better. But when I install the 4-inch instrument cluster and start my truck, it gives me a warning to check the 4x4, but my truck isn't a 4x4. My question is, why does that warning come on? Could it be a code that was saved from the previous vehicle? Could it be that the dashboard is detecting some function that my truck doesn't have? What can I do to turn off that warning light?
I hope you can give me some advice.
Thank you very much for your support.
