Amen..

IF anything will have probs, I would likely believe it would be a NEW 10 speed.

Buddy had his 15 Denalli bought back due to 9sp tranny issues... Now hes got the 16, but not saying they are all bad. However I wanna believe the drive train is pretty stable in the 15/16 F150's.

I was in the same boat...back in 03, everyone says,,, oh wait for the 6.0L and Torqueshift in the new Superduty.... Buying the 7.3l diesel in the 02 was the best thing I ever did.... due to it's reliability, I lost 11K over 12 years selling outright. I like the looks of the 15's and the drivetrain is proven. And that's my nickels worth of an opinion

I'm more worried about flaking pain on the new Aluminum panels in a few years.

Interesting if we will see another era of cars like the "1974 Mustang II" with crap performance just to save fuel..

That would suck big time

Nothing that drastic. But I think we'll end up looking like europe, very small engines with supercharging/turbocharging and, in some cases, both. Heck, Volvo is already doing that.

I'd love to have diesel, too bad the fcktards at VW cocked it up bigtime.
