Default View Engine Temp On Small Instrument Cluster

Is there a way to view the actual engine temperature on the smaller instrument cluster. I know on the larger display this can be turned on with ForScan. On my display, I can see the actual tranny temp (not the idiot gauge), but there is no actual engine temp in the menus.

In summer when towing I get some high tranny temps and I'd like how they correlate with the engine temp.

Long answer, yes.

Google "2015 f150 diagnostic mode". Video on utube.

Not a long term solution.

You could go the Scanguage or torque pro route. I've got both. Pretty handy.

Scott, you missed his question. He doesn't have the large cluster screen. He has the physical gauges, not the digital ones, across the top of his cluster. The FORScan change doesn't work on the little ones, as there's no screen to show the numbers.

Default Q

Um, no. Not with the small screen gauge cluster. Simply linking to the forscan thread doesn’t make the impossible happen. My scangauge does it though.

Thanks for the input.

Any of you have experience with Dashboss? Caught my eye as it works with Apple products. More expensive, but looks like it has some cool features, such as setting up alerts. That would be great for towing.

Check out the clusters thread and livinitup will make a gauge like the Lariats and up 8” screen. Then you can add all those nifty things to your gauges.
