Default Vibration while driving

So I’m looking at buying a 2016 f150 lariat with the 3.5 only problem is I test drove it the other day and it has a vibration at literally 70 mph, when you let off the throttle then get back into it it has like a slight vibration, mechanic at he dealership said it seems like a transmission gear issue and offered to try shudder stop and see what happens, anyone got any idea what this could be I was hoping a universal joint or something simple but idk

Could be either. You might want to consider something different.

Agreed. Look at others. There's like tens of them out there.

did this happen to be in Indiana? Just curious because I just bought a f-150 lariat 2016 and did not feel that on the test drive but a few days later I started feeling a vibration.

If you have a 6.5ft box then it's the drive shaft, very common for the bearings to go bad.
