Default Vibration

A lot of us have posted about a vibration between 50-70mph range. I posted in another thread what I did to fix my problem, but just thought I'd share the actual report from Ford when balancing my tires with less than 5K miles on them. There's no way these wheels & tires should have passed through QC with how much they were out of balance, one was almost 2oz out of balance. Look for yourself, it's very pathetic.

Thanks for posting. There seems to be various vibration issues. The thump thump due to out of balance tires and the buzz through the gas pedal at 2,000rpms and above caused by.....no idea. Glad you got yours fixed! If you can solve my buzzy gas pedal, I'll do your speaker mod.

HaHa, getting my tires rebalanced was just the first step, I also had to rebalance my driveshaft & reset my pinion angle. Now it drives like a "new" vehicle....lol. As far as the gas pedal goes, I've got the same thing. I'm currently working on a type of thick rubber insulating mat between the pedal & firewall. If it works I'll let you know. It's a shame we buy new trucks & have to fix them ourselves
