Using 2017 Superduty intelligent access key in 2015 F150
Does anyone know if the keys for the 2017 Superduty are compatible with the 2015 F150's intelligent access key system? I strongly prefer the new style key as its way easier to get to the backup key and take the key ring, not to mention that the panic button looks harder to bump. I need a third key, so if the new style key will work, I'd rather get that.
Lastly, I know people are going to be tempted to respond with yes or no based on assumptions, but I would prefer you have something along the lines of the new keys are PATS 4 and aren't backwards compatible or operating on a different frequency, in other words proof or first hand experience. I was told the previous style integrated fob and key wouldn't work with my 2008 F250 that came with the classic separate key and PATS key, but it worked just fine.

So I don't have the Ford part number, but I do have the Strattec part number. I have found one site that has the Strattec keys and specifically sites that it isn't compatible with the F150, but I have found no others. Both keys are 902Mhz. http://locksmithstore.com/bs-5929503...164-r8166.html
So I don't know if they have it listed as incompatible at the other site because it isn't the F150 currently or it really won't work, but I can't see Ford reinventing the wheel a few years after creating its first prox key setup. I know most keys before were backward and cross model compatible, just not all of the buttons would be properly labeled or may not work.
