Default Use 4 ways to trigger strobe lights?

Anyone want to add some input or experience to the idea of using the hazard light/4way switch to trigger a relay to turn my strobe lights on and off? Would make a super clean install and the clicking noise would remind me not to drive around the state with the strobes on by accident.

That's the simple way, assuming you're just running a few lights. If you get into advanced control systems (Whelen Core, Sound Off Blueprint) you can also do an OBD integration and get it that way.

Just keep in mind, if you plan to be in the vehicle for a long period, click-click... click-click... click-click can become maddening. I've got an activity tone (beep every X seconds when a function is engaged) on my Blueprint control, but I have an override so I can kill the noise if I want.

I have a Diode Dynamics flasher module in the Subaru.

I like it, but as stated above the clicking does get annoying.
