Default Upper and Lower Control arm rust (I know , Rust )

I know there are many threads on Rust , but I wanted to ask peoples opinion.
2018 F150 purchased new , 72000kms on it currently, never in a flood and never backed a boat into the water and I find my UC & LC arms are rusting a fair amount , not surface rust but rust that is pitting. I had a 2016 F150 also purchased new and after 2 years nothing like this

I do have rust in other places and some of them are also pitting and not just surface rust like the first pic , the rest are of the UC and LC arms

Rain, snow, road salt. Looks kind of normal actually. Not many coatings can stand up to the elements and dirt, sand and gravel chipping paint. It takes sandblasting, epoxy priming and an industrial epoxy coating to hold up long term. Powder coatings even can't hold a candle to the epoxy primer/ coatings. Nobody would be willing to pay the cost of what would be required to paint the frames that way.

My 2016 has lived its whole life outside in Ohio. I treat it with WoolWax.

But..... the cost is $309 CDN for a kit and I have to do the work, uggg....so I'll probably stay with Krown at under $150 CDN and I just drop it off and have a coffee and breakfast near by. 45 min later, I drive away with no work and no mess for me. I guess I like them doing the messy stuff.

I got a great deal. My boss bought a lift. Bought the kit. And said if I did his two trucks on the clock I could also do mine. So I got paid to do mine and the product was free. Mine was easy. Because all you have to do is the frame and the inside of the bumpers. His were steel bodys so that took time. You can buy smaller kits. It only took three small bottles to do mine. It still holding up good even after this nasty winter.
