I like the look of a XL that has been modified to the drivers taste. Why not make the vehicle your own and not just another Platinum?

Search for the XL thread and you'll see some really nice trucks.

 

Air design makes a blank applique that would be a fraction of the cost of a new tailgate.

 

I am just fuc*ing around, these people that propose this and want to do these upgrades??? To me it's just a truck.. nothing more nothing less and at the end of hunting and firewood season it will just be a shade of its old self.

Great forum for technical ****, not a young punk and afford is subjective I prefer an xl trim however ended up with a xlt sport package. I can only afford the best deal a dealer will give me. Anything more is absurd. I just can't get over the amount of stupid I need moonroofs and leather and automatic everything or I am outcasted probably from you. There are some very technical guys on here that know there stuff. But I am sure you are the tough guy enforcer with top trim. If it's a tough guy contest you lose...its just a truck is a truck enjoy it...use it and hope it lasts. Mine typically make it 3 years and I am never measured by my trim level. Hope your soccer dad truck looks nice backed into the space at the school parking lot and all the kids think your cool.

no they would let that go cheaper than the xl trim, previous truck was stx. I hate the console hate the carpet that I spent $200 dollar to erase. If I wanted a platinum I would buy one. My dogs would destroy that in days. I usually dictate what I buy to them..i lost one time of the 10 ford trucks I've owned. When I was young I got the fancy truck and I learned that it was all useless. So tough guy which I know, you call out everyone with a less trim than you, you are the problem because you hide behind what ever bull**** package you have. Not at all jealous.
