Added warning not to waste money on Sync 3 retrofits now that Sync 4 exists.
Edited flowchart to reflect owners with NAV 1.19 that just want a Sync update.
Corrected URL link to download Ford module calibration files.
Removed Cyanlabs link (not out of disrespect), but because I don't want any more PM's on the software I know nothing about.
Removed UCDS link which is no longer a valid URL.
Corrected USB-C Hub with known OEM Part number.

I have updated the Sync 3 software several times my truck successfully. I recently downloaded Folder 4, as per the flowchart, performed the update, did a master reset, and my version still shows as 19XXX (I forget the rest of the numbers). Is that the version it should be according to folder 4?

When I did folder 4 on my '16 Lariat today, it went from 20021 to 20351 with the updated gracenote version as soon as the screen came back on before I even had a chance to do a master reset while I was driving today. Normally on other updates, I would have to shut the truck off and open and close the door, wait about 5 minutes then next time that I started the truck it would be updated. Folder 4 did it all at once today, maybe because nothing changed in Nav since I'm already on '19 maps ?

My plans for Sync 4 is to buy a 2022 F150. Unless if you are talking about adding the 12" screen to a 13 gen F150 which has already been retrofit by Jon Diethelm on these forums.

do you have a link to the thread ? i cant find him using that as a username and searching for a retrofit isnt coming up with much.
