Default Underdrive pulley for A/C compressor? A/C is lacking...

Has anyone tried this?

My a/c comes out cold but it could use more power. It’s my only gripe with the truck really.

What do you mean it would use more power? Mines takes a few minutes to get cold, but after that, it's just fine. If I keep my hand in front of the vent, it gets numb.

I guess mine is the same I just feel like its not as hot when the fan is on full which, in CT when its 90 and 90% humidity, you need and even then it takes a long time for the truck to feel cool inside. Could be me coming from smaller cab trucks but thought I would ask if anyone has any thoughts on improving the output/distribution of a/c ?

You'd be better off tinting your front windshield with clear heat reflective tint than modifying the a/c to try to make it colder. That's the reason the a/c doesn't feel as cold.

I had to have my front door windows tinted this past June. If anyone is on the fence about the need for window tint just let someone else drive while you sit in the back--it will feel much cooler.

Clear heat reflective tint or just normal? NEver heard of the stuff (clear tint) but I am interested. Truck is too hot.

My 2018 has some of the coldest ACs of any vehicle I've ever had. It will outcool my super duty.

I have OEM privacy with Suntek 35% on the front doors and limo over the privacy on the rear window. Really helps with the heat/sun.

There some really good ceramic tint made for windows that is almost clear. Any good tint shop should carry it.

I agree, my 2016 has some of the coldest A/C I've had. And I live in the gulf south so I know heat and humidity. In CT the OP has a heat wave at 90+ degrees. Where I live it's called summer.

And I have ceramic tint on my front windows and it works. You can feel the difference when you roll the window down.

Looking at the paperwork to get the details now. Here's a link to what I have applied. Shadow 32. http://www.sun-gard.com/automotive-window-film

Also, I recalled Auto Suggestion posts pictures on FB. Here is the post from my F150.

Hope this helps.
