Dang, that's expensive, but does look to be the solution requested. Not sure it's worth it for a quick look.

My dashcam has a rear camera that can be looked at any time. Perhaps that is the solution?

The Chevy solution is nice, especially the ones that have a bed camera that you can enable while driving. I get the safety/liability reasons as to why Ford does not allow this, but it sure is a nice feature if you have ever driven a vehicle with it. I always find it interesting as to what features certain manufacturers have/allow vs. what they don't. If GM has figured out how to allow this feature with their liability lawyers signing off one would think that Ford could do the same.

Do you have that issue when looking at your review mirror?

Actually it is possible. Just throw your vehicle into reverse while your driving, LOL. Backup CAM turns on, and nothing else happens....and you can drive like that. Don't ask me how I know.

*edit* found a video of someone else doing it

uhh.....no. These trucks are too smart to let you **** them up that easy. Like I said, I did it in my 2018...a few times. Nothing happens except the backup camera turns on while you are driving.

Bet it freaks out the people behind you when they see the reverse lights come on all of a sudden.

I may just have to bite the bullet on that Naviks kit. Now I just need a good CHMSL camera, or find a way to make the SuperDuty CHMSL cam tie in to their $450 module.
