We continually release new versions of our tuning, and gains will increase as this happens.

that is great but what are the current gains I can expect to see if if I were to purchase a Tune/Tuner from LMS for my 2.7L? And which tune will produce those gains, is it the 93 performance tune?

Thank our for clearing up my confusion. Does that mean 82whp and 65wtq are your current numbers?

The charts could be in 2 different measurement standards SAE vs STD

On stock tune I just averaged 30.7 mpg on a 60 mile trip (supercrew 2wd). I do run ethanol free fuel though. Really loving this engine.

You are welcome! The 82/65 are the most current tune version performance gains.

All of the performance gains that we advertise are going to be utilizing our 93 octane performance tuning, unless otherwise stated. For example, if there are additional tune required parts installed on that vehicle or a tune that requires additional modification. All of those things do get spelled out clearly.

I bought the truck because I need a truck. I bought the 2.7 because I wanted good power & good mpg.

I pulled 25 mpg going 75 on a 700 mile trip this weekend. Got 29 mpg when I slowed to 65. Granted I live in Illinois where there are no hills. But I did it.

I don't buy into the macho bull ****. If I wanted a race car I'd have bought a mustang. Real people spend real money to get the best of both.

I have power when I need it & good economy when I want it
yeah... slightly downhill and with tailwind....

the EPA tested the truck in the highway cycle (~62mph , no elevation, no wind) and it got the 26mpg it is rated at. Now you are telling that with a performance tune you are beating their mpg by a solid 10%+ going the same speed in real world driving?

dont get me wrong - I love my 2.7 and it does get the 26mpg on the highway if you go in low to mid 60s.... if you go even slower, even better mpgs. I would be the last one to bash 2.7 EB performance... but 29mpg going 65mph is not feasable unless you coast downhill or have significant tailwind

Running ethanol or none, 2wd or 4wd? You'll easily pickup 2mpg running none ethanol and 2wd adds a couple more over 4wd. I was running 65-70mph when I averaged 30.7mpg. My truck just hit 3600miles and from what I read during research the 2.7 doesn't really breakin until around 5000 miles. I'll post an update after I hit that mark.

The 2.7 in 2WD is rated 26mpg highway by the EPA. Even if you add 2mpg for ethanol free fuel you are still nowhere near 30mpg....

Downhill and strong tailwind would explain the difference

In East Texas there isn't a 60 mile road that's downhill that I know of. My trip was early morning (before daylight) with little to no wind. I'll be sure to get a pic the next trip.
