Default Tune question

Curious, the one tune I have never seen a stock vs tuned dyno for '15-'17 5.0's is the Omega (where the tuned truck is actually stock except for the tune). Everyone seems to rave about the tune...

Anyone have one? Maybe I missed it.

ford didnt leave much on the table as far as tuning goes for the 5.0. the motor already makes an incredible amount of power and torque for its size. It makes damn near 1 hp/in^3

Omega by OZ Tuning seems to be the go to tune for the adaptability of octane being used without having to change tunes - atleast in the FB group i frequent. I actually have an older MPT tune that he made when he worked for them prior to branching off to do his own thing.
MPT and 5Star tuning are still viable options.

I have an Omega tune on my 2016 5.0L. I've only run 87 octane in 31k miles, but the tune has proven worthwhile for improved throttle response and shifting. No change in fuel economy.

The tune on the N/A 5.0L motor isn’t necessarily about more power although you will see some gains in HP and TQ, it’s more about driveability.

It makes almost 1.3 hp per cubic inch now...not sure how much more you’ll get without changing other parameters, like intake, exhaust, camming, or adding artificial atmosphere.

Yeah, I get that there isnt a whole lot left on the table for the 2015-2017 5.0's. I was just curious what he managed to get out of it.
